myths, surprises, and the best players in the world cup

Priddis is a machine. Should have played more rep football but was stuck behind some handy ones in his career

myths, surprises, and the best players in the world cup

That was what I implying. The only exceuse I get is that he competes and with a crook back as well. In a team that has struggled with injuries in the halves and as such he has been stuck doign cameos there. Good on him for battling through but still doesnt make him as good as Smith by a long shot.

OK you win he rocks.....still wont get a NSW or Australian jumper because he isnt good enough

No tiger bias there I think. Realistically Farrah only looks good when his forwards go forward so what is your point. That he can somehow look amazing when his forwrds are going backwards.....must have missed that game

myths, surprises, and the best players in the world cup

Yet you defend a hack like Farrah? Smith wins Dally M. You will never see Farrah win this, one of the hardest awards to win in RL. Farrh had a good season 2 years ago. He was quick out of dummy half and caught people with their pants down. He has not improved one bit since then...he isn't the...

Just so you don't feel too silly he did put that try on a platter for Lockyer to score in the WC final. Lockyer did bomb it but the kick was still there.

    The Ropati try

Well that is missconception. I ran the stats and virually man for man the Aussies made more metres in the forwards per run than their Kiwi counterparts. The rpobelm is they never had the ball as much as the kiwis and it looks like they didn't do enough. The Kiwis had a completion rate of 81%...

Worst Kangaroo back-row of all time??

That may be so (personally I don't think it is a good enough reason) but he was also had the lowest tackle count of all the forwards. In no WC game did I see him look comfortable or effective. I don't want to bag him because at club level he plays 10 times better than he did in any WC game and...

Worst Kangaroo back-row of all time??

And about 70 in the WC

Worst Kangaroo back-row of all time??

Give that man a cigar. He has nailed it in one. Competion rates byt the Aussies was terrible. The Kiwis had the ball 40 times and completed at 81%. The Aussies had the ball 34 times and only completed 62%. That is not good enough for any team to win a game of football. The Kiwis completed 33...

Worst Kangaroo back-row of all time??

OMFG did you watch a game at all? he has been terrible. The only reason he didn't put a foot wrong is because he did stuff all. For a guy touted as one with a high work rate he was pathetic. Look at the stats from all the games he played in the WC and you will se out of all the forwards he moade...

    Question to the Aussies Here

I can understand the calls for nutral refs. It is only natural that you would like to wipe out any possibility of bias/favouratism out fo the equation. My only problem is that it will not be enough for many. You only need to look at the cricket msg boards over the past few years to see evidence...

    Necessary England changes

I am not a big fan of Kite but he was outstanding on the weekend and he deserves to be praised. Mate I understand fully what you are saying but I am at a loss to find out what you want to put the remaining 50 minutes of the game under. If the England forwards outplayed the Aussies in the opening...

    Necessary England changes

You arent serious are you? I see your point now. Of course they were better than the AUssies. That first 30 minutes was outstanding. Lets just forget about the other 50 minutes of the game as it isn't relevent to your argument. Kite PWNED your forward pack. One man was the match of 3 of your...

    Necessary England changes

You are a riot  If they were hard done by there still would be some equallity in the meteres/run averages. Kite killed ytour entire pack. Perry made metres and I think he was poor. Price and Civ laced your front row up. Gallen & Laffranchi were handfulls. Stewart was the only flop in the...

    Necessary England changes

:lol: Did you watch the game? Your forwards were beaten almost to a man. There was not one guy in the forward pack that outplayed his opposite number. Our front row chewed up the meters from you guys at will. Cam Smith had an eternity to pick up runners. Gallen made more metres than any...

First coach to get the boot in 09

No way will he get sacked. Bennett will quit during the season if the board wants to lock horns with him. He wont give a rats arse. The great man is the closest thing any of todays fans will get to understanding the quality of a coach like Jack Gibson. He and Bennett are two peas in the rarest pod

    Orford Surely...

Lyon should not be even considered for teh Aussie team. Turned his back on NSW and rep football then he forfeits his right to play. Stewart will be a start in the Aussie team if he is not injured. Slater will not even get a look in. The Aussie squad will have Hunt and Gidley in there so I don't...

    Billy Slater Ninja Kicks

He learnt how to do it from that Manly androtop of the late 80's, one M Ridge. Was applauded by all when he booted the ball out of a players hand while diving over the line. Was a great move until he misses. I think the could have been fullbacks doing it before Slater, but son't let that stop you...

    Lost: One Matthew Johns

A bit rich coming from the likes of yourself. He was never an average player. On his day he was fantastic. He was never a champion player but he was certainly a better player than most in the NRL. Show everyone your footballing pedigree and we will se how it stacks up to this so called average...
