    I'm disappointed for Watmough as his form hasn't changed since he was selected for origin 1. I'm surprised as good as Menzies form has been that he was selected ( id rather him playing for Manly ). Also Kite or Tupou should have come in for Ryan or Simpson.

    You have to take into consideration Manly's record with him in the team, especially as captain, is exceptional. He is a rare find and although his football skills alone may not be worth 240k he is worth that much to the Manly club.

    Mate when Menzies and Kennedy leave it will free up a shitload of money to pursue 2 elite players and youd would think at least one of those signings would be a backrower.

    I'm a Manly fan myself but with most probably our 4 front rowers out and Watmough and Menzies backing up the Tigers should have a good chance. However if it rains i'd be confident of a Manly win as we seem to play well in those conditions.

    ITS OFFICIAL MANLY ARE PRETENDERS

    It was very disappointing but i'm not too upset this morning. It is absoultely crucial that Manly get back on the board against the Tigers at home though as they will need the confidence heading into games against the Dogs, Panthers and Eels.

    I think he is a very talented player but I think Manly are strong in the backrow already. We'll hopefully be targeting a centre.

    We don't have any great quality at centre but we have plenty of depth there. It is out weakness but at the moment I can't complain with either's form. As long as they make their tackles and get the odd ball out to Donald and Hicks it will be sweet.
