Trials carry no weight...look at the Dogs start to the season.

Well the Broncos made the finals of the nines so their pre-season form wasn't so bad. Though they did get hammered by the Warriors.

But it's not the results that are making us Tigers fans optimistic. It's three things.

Excellent performances by Tedesco, Paterson, Austin, Taupau and Gavet.
Benji is gone.

The third one seems to be a reason people are writing us off but I assure you that Benji Marshall was nothing but a negative on our 2013 season. He was useless. We'd have had better luck with Fitzhenry there last year.
