lolAh yeah, ok.
Looks like Brownlie has done enough to keep the position at 6. Boult will most likely drop out as he needed a really big performance to force himself in the side I feel.
lolAh yeah, ok.
If you want Franklin at 6 why not just put Vettori there?
Isn't Brownlie an Australian?
gotta strengthen the Kiwis some how I guess
Do Mitchell Johnson or Peter Siddle have any Kiwi ancestors?
Predicted to be a fast bowling paradise again with the test wicket been used for the first time in 15 years i heard
Hughes + Warner as our openers + a disaster.
Unfortunately I think we can rely on the NZ attack to make them look at least half decent in one innings before Watson gets back.
Nope they're all yours![]()
Based off what exactly? Warner's so far stellar start to his first class career? Or based off the fact that Hughes has a hit a century and 88 in his last two tests.
Watson - you mean the guy who has a lower batting average than Hughes AND has only averaged 24 so far in 2011 AND has scored one less century than Hughes in twice as many tests.
I see your logic why Hughes and Warner are going to be a disaster.
I would get rid of Hughes before Warner. The keyword re: Warner is a good start to his career. He doesnt have the temperament or skill for test cricket and he will get shown up eventually.
I am not sure what tests you have been watching but Hughes has not hit a century in either of his last 2 tests.
Anybody can do what Hughes does, he flashes wildly outside off stump and more often than not it is his undoing. Your comparison of Hughes to Watson is ridiculous; Watson adds value with the ball and should bat in the middle order anyways.
