has a real body language weakness :sarcasm:

Warne also said that aliens made humans so Starc should probably not bother listening to him. Im probably biased because Starc is a joy to watch bowl but he has so much upside. His biggest problem is that he is both dumb and firey so he can bowl some shocking spells but if he shows discipline like he did on that awful perth pitch he has a big career on him.

He needs to up his cricket smarts. I dont mind a guy getting fired up. Mcgrath was an angry bastard on the field but hes got to stick to plans and not completely lose discipline like he can do

Have to admit a quartet of Starc, Cummins, Hazelwood and Pattinson is pretty scary...

Guess they'd all have to be fit at the same time for an extended period (seems unlikely)

Do have to reserve judgement on Cummins until he actually plays, I was underwhelmed with what I saw at the World Cup, but again he's hardly played cricket so not sure what to expect

See, you use the word assumption, and then go one to say something which literally no one has assumed in this thread, leading me to believe you should look up the meaning of that word too....

"He has the most potential of any of our bowlers" does not equal "he will take 7 wickets in every Test match he ever plays". You...you do know that....right?

I see far more likelihood in Hazelwood and Pattinson having greater careers than Cummins. Your example of his first test aside.

Based on ODI games, a completely different format, at a time when he has not been 100% fit.

Seems legit.

Man, imagine a bowling attack of Starc, Cummins, Hazlewood, Pattinson at the peak of their fitness and powers.

That would be an awesome sight, even for one test.

Hazlewood aside, I think the coaching and medical staff that can get them all fit and firing at the same time for even a single match deserves some kind of sainthood, let alone extended periods unfortunately....

Well it is rare for any fast bowler to be 100% fit. They all invariably carry niggles here and there, but Cummins is having difficulty actually getting on the turf consistently so far.

How much action remodelling has he already been through? Genuine question.

Well that question seems to have silenced the Cummins experts all of a sudden.

Perhaps someone can look it up on google through articles and press releases.

I really dont know how much his action has been rebuilt.

Im not too concerned with Starc he was bowled into the ground and cricket australia should get a kick up the arse for how he was managed. Patto and cummins are concerns though

Bit harsh on BMac, he retiring for a reason and his best cricket is behind him.

He won the Kiwis a lot of games off his own bat, I don't think he deserves too much criticism on his current form.

Imagine an attack of Boland, Lewis, Dorey and Doherty. A wily, magical spinner and express, yet consistent quicks. Geez that attack would hit the deck hard

You tell me, you're the one who's been following him closely for the past five years aren't you?

I'd pick Hazlewood before any of the quartet at this stage. The way he's gone from 4-5th choice quick, to leading the attack has been pretty amazing.

Speaking of silenced you still haven't answered the questions about how you have been able to 'closely follow' Cummins career since his test debut.

You do realise that he has played in the BBL and ODI matches since then?

Further, you do realise that in addition to Shield matches, he played in the warmup Ashes FC games?

I have been underwhelmed. I do not think that I am the only one. But maybe after one or two more action remodellings he will be sublime.

Or maybe not.

If he goes through enough action remodelling, they could try and make him into a leg spinner.

And sadly yes, I often watch one camera FC footage of players.
