The big difference in the end I suppose. Bulldogs fans and probably Tigers also are more likely to take advantage of the members free entry to away games @ ANZ due to their proximity (observation btw, not attack on Red V members, because I don't blame them).

True, although I was still dissapointed in the number of members who took advantage of the free entry.

I think the Dragons could've been a little more proactive in reminding fans about the offer. i thought the item on the website was a little cryptic.

yak, Dogs-Dragons pre-sold 16k... ended with a total of 14.4... the pax I saw at the gate pre-match was roughly 12k... what's the story?

For the Bulldogs and Dragons game, members aren't provided a PAX because neither club use Ticketek for their memberships systems.

Now for that particular match, 4,000 Bulldogs members where entitled free entry, and 6,000 (4,000 Both WIN/ANZ and 2,000 ANZ) Dragons members. These are included by default on top of the ticketed sales.

As stated before, many Dragons members didn't take up the option of the free ticket, in fact less than a 1/3rd did for that match.

It will be interesting to find out if this was just because of their location, the teams form, or if it wasn't communicated properly from the club. Be interesting to see what % of Eels members go to their away game against Wests Tigers at ANZ later in the year, just wondering if the fact these two clubs are new to the whole 'ANZ Stadium' thing if it will take their members a while to get use to the 'free ticket' concept.

Sharks, Manly, Dragons and Panthers have a bit to answer for. Having said that, Sharks is based on one game so they have a few weeks to get a decent figure.

low-mid 20's? Would you say that is a dissapointing crowd, for the ANZAC clash? With proper promotion etc., what realistically do you think the attendance should be?

Over time they've been increasing nicely, getting over 30K at the SFS a couple of years back. Last year it was only 18K but pissing down rain I think.

I'm tipping that if Souths keep playing the way they are, that average home attendance figure will drop well below 20,000. Infact, it'd be lucky to stay above 15,000 by the end of Round 26.

After all that's happened it'll be shameful if Rabbitoh fans let it sink below 20'000. Sure the team isn't winning but everything else is going great.

Rabbits are only that high because of the match against the Roosters.

Same goes with Dogs/Roosters.

Prob more than 25,000, close to 30,000 but 21,000 is an improvement on last year's crowd.
