Newcastle Heritage Jersey:

IMO that should be the Knights permanent home jersey.

Don't thank me for posting this image, I got it from these forums somewhere myself.

But yes, I agree 100% with The Tank. This should be Newcastle's permanent main jersey for forever and a day. If St.George/St.George-Illawarra can somehow keep their Red 'V' jersey without the need to get a new design every 3 years (same or at least similar goes for Souths, Roosters, Melbourne, ect), then I should think there would be a way for Newcastle to keep this design.

I am keenly awaiting this jersey's release so's I can buy one.

It would be great if Newcastle could adopt such a design permanently, even if they just reversed it for their alternative it would make a good design that was distinctly Newcastle.

Just on jerseys, it's encouraging how many clubs are now leaning towards a constant design.

Roosters main is always the same, Cronulla have gone back to a well known design, Souths home and away is much the same, Dragons home has been the same since the 40's, Melbourne's home has stayed the same for the past 5 years, Broncos have kept the same for the past 6 years, Bulldogs since 97, Raiders have gone back to an original design for home and even their away is back to 82 style, its good to see.

Hopefully other clubs like Newcastle, Parramatta and so on which have a bit of history see the value in keeping a consistent design for a long period of time.

It's good to see that clubs have learnt from some of the terrible decisions that were made in the 90's.

I'm rooting for the Panthers to go back to the brown and white and stick with that design. There's way too many clubs with predominantly black jerseys.

Hell I'm a 'Dogs fan and I'll even be making sure to get my hands on that jersey, I'd even wear it!

They're about third in my food chain tbh... they'll drop to fourth once the Bears are back...

Imagine Quantum Eco Hot Water or whatever they're called in the middle though... fits away jersey nicely, not sure about how it'll look on the home strip.

I saw what i assume is the 09 broncos strip -exactly the same design wise as last years.

the new strips have a tag in the bottom right hand corner which says " NRL Authentic" on it, at leats thats how i remember it
