And how much are the two points worth??? We win that game we might make the finals this year. Whats that worth to the club???

Ultimately, there is no price that can be put on an important 2 competition points. The club has to make decisions that are in the best interests of the team and the club as a whole. There is certainly no guarantee that we win any of those Darwin games at Commbank either, although I agree our chances are probably better.
I'd assume that the club is taking the stance to move the one game to Darwin and take the NT's money, in the hope that we come home with both the cash and the 2 points.
Isn't it up to the team and coaching staff to ensure that happens? How, if we lose, is it JS's fault?

Do most teams take a game elsewhere? Seems to be plenty of em these days. Does the NRL push it?

I guess the argument for now is we have won more games there then lost. I dislike it as its one less home game. But it isn't going to effect you winning the comp. If your a good side you win anywhere.

I've always felt you should have a deal with opposition that you both take your home games against each other somewhere. That makes it fair.

It's more the conditions for me.

Most games up there are fumbly, stop start affairs not great for Rugby League. A lot of games up there have been garbage let's be honest even when we have won.

If we lose again next year up there that's 3 losses in a row up there. When do you go enough is enough is it really worth it. What advantage we gained or were getting is no longer working.

I think JS isa dribbling muppet, but it's not all on him. I just think once again they are putting some easy money ahead on whats best for the team. Isn't the football club now self sufficient??? Why does it now need some easy from from NT??

Analed by the draw again in 2024...

From the SMH;

Heavyweights South Sydney and Parramatta will stare down a slew of top-eight opponents after missing last year’s play-offs while Newcastle’s stunning finals run has doubled the club’s free-to-air exposure in 2024

Sharks get another soft draw by the looks of it....

Warriors no longer play Storm on ANZAC Day... They host the Titans instead and the Storm will host the Bunnies on ANZAC Day night... So 3 games on ANZAC Day (which is a Thursday)....

In terms of timeslots for home games this year is so much better.

Just 2 x Thursday Nights

We get no 6pm Friday games.
3 x 8pm Friday Night games
4 x Saturday games - 1 x 3pm, 2x 5:30pm, 1 x 7:30pm
1 x Easter Monday game
1 x Sunday Arvo match against manly at 4pm.

I think overall its a pretty good draw.

No trips to Townsville or Melbourne but we do have Darwin.

We also play the Titans week before Origin so i suspect no Tino, Fifita to worry about.

Obviously we raised Merry Hell with the powers that be. No way we would have bent over after last years draw. No way I tell ya!
The club and the people running it are as weak as piss, but but but but they are doing all they can for us to win a comp apparently……….
