Schuster is in no position to be dictating what position the coach should pick him for. He'll be lucky to get a contract anywhere unless he shows a newly discovered work ethic to knuckle down, get fit and do as he's told. He could be a very good ball playing edge backrower if he works hard and gets the right attitude but already him saying he wants the 6 at a club that includes Cody Walker and Jack Wighton shows me his head still isn't screwed on right.

Maybe Wayne could get into his head to do some major repair work up there.

The no 6 talk would be the media trying to get more mileage out of the story I’d say he would be happy to just get another shot at the nrl

Ilias has never played dummy half in his life. The club hasn’t found anyone that wants him.

I have seen lots of negativity on Schuster on Souths forums and social media today and if Schuster does come and work out all those saying he’s shit and a total dud would then start sucking him off. I’ve watched him play in his good season with Manly there is a player there he has talent and class if he’s shown tough love he can show what he’s got and be a quality player. If anyone can get him firing it’s Wayne. He’s a ball playing edge too and has creativity and X factor moments in him at the right price get him in! And Wayne will tell him you’ll be playing edge suck it up ok and do what’s best for the side.

At the right price 350k or so I’m all for it a 2 year deal or deal with 2nd year option in clubs favour.

I still have heard we are looking to try move Ilias, Havili and Host on but there are no takers.

We end up with this next year it looks better….

Also on Humphreys I asked my mate who goes for Manly he’s watched lots of him he said he’s a better 7 than 9 and said he’s had some shocking games at 9 in NSW Cup for Manly so make of that what you will.

Dodd coming in on about 650k, Aitken signing as well as Campbell, Keaon, Tatola, Wighton all their contracts go up next year dollars wise. From what I’ve heard Campbell and Keaon salary both go up to 800k. Tatola goes up from about 500k to 650k too. Ilias money goes up to upwards of 500k next year Havili also back ended deal upwards of 400k. People forget Manly chipped in for Keppie this season too so we are paying full freight next year.

Also Tom took a pay cut from 750k to 400k for season 2024.
