Bloody HOT SPOT! Tubs the hot spot on the bat is from the brush with the pad. Line it up? If the bat did get a nick would have been a lot higher up hot spot wise. Lines up exactly with brushing the pad though.

I agree. The mark was high on the bat and there was enough doubt to keep the original decision imo.

Subsequent replays show that he probably hit it. The mark wasn't from the pad (exact height as where the ball passed by) and it looks like he just hit it before it hit the pad.

Too much doubt to give out.

Ryder deserved the benefit of the doubt there.
