2 innings in a row where New Zealand have been bowled out for only 150

Also just heard on the radio that it's started raining in Hobart after they went off for an early Tea break.

i'd be happy to keep this squad into 2012 with a few minor adjustments.

1. McCullum - no longer will keep in test matches, batsmen only. If he's not opening and batting down the order, who would you replace him with? if he and Guptill can develop their skill to open in both ODI's and Test matches it would be a huge asset to the team.
2. Guptill ^^
3. Brownlie - stability and resillience with a strong mindset could really blunt and frustrate the opposing attack. is a class above other batsmen mentally.
4. Williamson - talent to accumulate and play strokes, also a strong student of the game
5. Talyor - playing some stupid shots to get out at the moment but good player against slower spin bowlers, better playing against a older ball. all the shots + captain..
6. Ryder - somewhat unlucky with dismissals yet also playing brain dead shots. has the talent to score big and smash anything away. feels more comfortable with a senior/in form batsman with him at the crease.
7. Young - average stroke player but excellent test style batsmen. resolute. (and only decent keeper/batsmen we got)
8. Vettori - n/a
9. Southie - only strike bowler we got. can hit the ball. needs to work on his patience..
10. Bracewell/Boult/Arnel/Franklin *what ever happened to Bennett?
11. Martin - it wouldnt be the test team without him

132/43 = 1 duck per 3.06 games
64/32 = 1 duck per 2 games

Chris Martin the original duckman.

Warner and Hughes massive opening partnership to essentially bat Khawaja out of the Boxing day test.

Hughes 150
Warner 100

We'll be about 0/210 early day 2.

so i expect to see Hughes gone for f**k all Uzzie getting a double century and opening on Boxing day going off your track record

I think that would actually be a great outcome for Australia.

However, Clarke expects Watson back for the Boxing Day test. I get the feeling that Clarke wants to kill Watson, always trying to bring him back as soon as possible instead of when he is actually ready

This is going to be a very, very testing period for the Aussie opening combination here. Hughes is about $1.05 to edge one into the cordon in the first over
