Irrelevant.

It's still worth $115m per annum to the NRL.

What's bullshit is you claiming that no one watches NRL on FTA in Adelaide and Perth because they've got Kayo, then saying you don't know how many people from Adelaide and Perth watch the NRL on Kayo.

Non-sequitur.

You claimed that Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne provided no value to fox because they average low ratings on ch9. It's not my problem you made a stupid argument.

You haven't thought this through.

If there is a large number of RL fans in Adelaide and Perth watching on Foxtel/Kayo then there's no need to add teams from these markets.

So does that poor logic also apply to Brisbane?

The world's two largest rugby league clubs are from Brisbane you dope!

A Perth-based team will struggle to keep up with the smallest Sydney clubs that Perth Red mocks.

There is no logic behind your posts. Just non-sequiturs to derail the discussion when your inane claims are refuted.

How would putting NRL teams in Adelaide get their audience up to AwFuL's level in Brisbane and Sydney?

Melbourne has had a team for 25 years. Its FTA audience is just 12k.

What makes you think Adelaide and Perth will average two or three times as many as Melbourne?
Are you saying afl is abetter sport and nrl can’t hope to replicate its tv interest levels?

Sigh.

Why do you judge a sport's value by its television ratings in five metro areas of Australia?

If we're going by viewership then rugby union is "better" than rugby league and fumbleball, with soccer being the "best", due to their larger fanbases across the planet.

Whether you like it or not, fumbleball has more supporters in Brisbane and Sydney than rugby league does in Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth. There are several factors that might be responsible for the disparity, but it exists and cannot be denied. It's naive to suggest it's all down to fumbleball having teams in all five metro markets. Using that logic, the A-League, NBL, Super Netball and BBL should be as big as AwFuL. Rugby union should be ahead of rugby league because it expanded into Melbourne and Perth. If you're going to argue "that's different" then you're just a biased code warrior.

I think rugby league is the best sport in the world. Not everyone else does. I accept that my view isn't shared by everyone. Putting teams in Adelaide and Perth won't turn its residents into rusted on rugby league fans like us.

If they are stupid enough to love afl then leave them to it they don’t deserve tgg

converting a handful of afl fans seems like a bigger goal for these zealots than giving rugby league clubs to clubs which have hundreds of thousands of fans ready to go

So there is already a large number of fans in that market right? So based on the below logic, there's no need to add any new teams there.

You haven't thought this through.

Or maybe you haven't really thought through your dumbarse argument.

Dumb prick keeps arguing against himself.

No need for a team in Brisbane because they already watch League in large numbers is literally his position.

He tries to find any possible argument he can to argue why Perth wouldn't work or isn't needed, but completely ignores whether that contradicts his arguments for other teams.

I wonder why?
Again youre making a great case for more investment by NRL into those cities. Or maybe you do think AFL's just more attractive to new audiences whilst NRL would fail to be so?

They'd rather deprive a rugby league fan of a team just so they can create one for people who couldn't care less about the game. They want the people they wish to deprive of a team to fund the ones created in fumbleball cities.

There's more fans in Brisbane willing to support a third team with their money than there are in Adelaide and Perth jumping on board to support their own, dickhead.

The introduction of the Dolphins led to 40k more members and an increase of 300k fans attending NRL games in Brisbane. Idiots like you said Brisbane never needed a second team because everyone who follows rugby league is either a Broncos fan or supports another team. Now the argument has been to switched to Brisbane doesn't need a third team because everyone supports the Broncos, Dolphins or some one else.

Or maybe you haven't really thought through your dumbarse argument.

You're boring and stupid.

Why would Foxtel want teams from Adelaide and Perth if there's already a large amount of people in these cities watching the game on Fox League?

Introducing a team could lead to some people unsubscribing so they can attend matches.

You never thought of that because you're a f**kwit like the dyslexic dullard of Cairns.

As Phil Gould said: Brisbane is best place for next expansion

Yeh because 3 teams in SEQ just isnt enough lol.
You've spent years telling everyone why every region of Sydney shouldn't have a club, yet here you are advocating for same in Brisbane. Hypocrite or what?
