West tigers existing takes a strength away from easts bid. That's why NRL pushed for merger with jets. If Perth jets get in I don't know where that leaves Brisbane jets?!
Not really a problem, they will just come up with a new brand for the club/region.
I still dont undertand any logic in a jets link up for perth. They have no fans, no sponsors/LC, no money and no jnrs. What exactly do they bring to the table?
only Makes sense if perth are just looking for a club to host a nsw cup second reserve grade side I suppose but I doubt we’d adopt the brand just for that

That orange is actually gold.
That gold is actually the ryde eastwood tigers, a balmain strip, they made a similar jersey for the western suburbs magpies in black, i just used it as an example for what the easts tigers could do to rebrand themselves better, and still keep their roots for NRL purposes

I remember when ryde Eastwood played out of pinkish red jerseys in metro cup

Ipswich Jets don't have the money to field a team in the NRL. Nor do they have the infrastructure needed to compete with the other NRL clubs. Their bid will rely on funding from the Ipswich City Council, Queensland State Government and Federal Government.

Brisbane Tigers are NRL ready with a high performance training centre and a rich Leagues club that's based in a centralised location. Ipswich is on the southwestern outskirts and hard to access for people from Logan and Redlands.

Yeah, but a venue at Springfield or even Logan sports complex is right in middle of the council areas

History of Ipswich jets would be something great to tap into. Long history of Ipswich rep team, tommy raudonikis first brl coach, Langer first half, Walters & walker brothers. Redcliffe template

Jets is a better fit for Ipswich/Western Corridor than Perth. If a Perth/Newtown partnership beats them to the punch (which I think is unlikely) then using the type of Jet used at Amberley would be a decent option. Assuming it’s possible and Boeing wouldn’t squash the idea.
