 I thought you poofs wanted as many people as possible to march for the CC Bears on Sunday week. You know, show the NRL how popular the Bears will be on the coast and all that.

As for the Bears being rorted, they bent over and took it like the bitches they are. Pity the people doing the giving were their own board of directors.

Too true Mave, its a pity that people have no real understanding of history and blame the wrong people for their own undoing.

Anyway I hope Rockin genius Ronny can muster a few inbreds from his family down to the march..............will be a major laugh trying to distinguish which one is his dad, uncle, brother or grandfather:lol:

MARCH FOR THE BEARS... this time next week!! MAY 15th. @ the roosters v knights game. COME ALONG AND SUPPORT NOT ONLY THE BEARS QUEST TO GET INTO THE NRL, but the push for the CENTRAL COAST to finally have a deserved team of it's own. The future of the game is on our hands.

CENTRAL Coast Bears are preparing to make their biggest statement so far.

And they are calling on fans of their NRL bid to help make next month’s planned supporters march something to roar about.

Bears members, fans and supporters will march along Gosford waterfront to Bluetongue Stadium on May 15.

They then intend to pack the bays with red and black at the NRL clash between the Roosters and Knights that evening.

The move follows the success of the Bears’ first fan day at Bluetongue Stadium last month.

Bears supporter Alan McLoughlin, known to Facebook social networking site followers as “Central Coast Bear”, said the support for their cause over the past 18 months had been growing rapidly.

“I started a petition on Facebook on April 15 last year and it has 15,000 supporters, and the Facebook fan page has more fans than the pages of some NRL clubs,” McLoughlin said.

Support continues to climb.

The first shipment of Central Coast Bears jerseys has sold out, with another batch on its way. The Bears have 1200 members, including an additional 28 that signed up when the march was announced on Tuesday.

Central Coast Bears chief executive Greg Florimo was hopeful the hundreds that attended the first fan day would become thousands on May 15.

“It’s nice to see the red and black back,” Florimo said. “This is a chance to support the game on the coast and show NRL will be supported up here. It’s also a chance to raise our visibility.”

He hoped people from across the coast and Sydney would attend the match and show their support.

Diehard Bears fans McLoughlin, Todd Nelson, Col Johnston, Charlene Cook and Michael Hanley have been keeping the red and black fires burning in the hope the Central Coast Bears would be given the green light.

“We all love our rugby league but we’d prefer our team in our town,” Cook said.

* Supporters will meet at the park adjacent to Gosford Sailing Club at 4pm, ahead of the start of the march at 4.30pm. Supporters planning to attend the march are asked to register on the SeaFM website (theradio.com.au) for their chance to win one of five double passes to the Roosters-Knights game.

Stop whining, Jatz.
You're sounding like Dessie.

Nothing is a worry when you follow a successful footy team in the NRL like I do.

Your probably all bitter & upset because Manly rejected your membership application on the grounds we dont allow angry losers to join.

Cant wait for your loser obnoxious angry diatribe in response.

Pearce talks in support of Bears push

INJURED Roosters playmaker Mitchell Pearce has put his support behind the Central Coast Bears ahead of tomorrow’s supporters march.
Pearce will travel with the Roosters to tomorrow night’s NRL clash with Newcastle at Bluetongue Stadium, Gosford, and said he would speak to supporters after the march.

The association stems from a long-standing connection with Central Coast Bears chief executive Greg Florimo.

“It should be good, it’d be good to get a team on the coast in the next couple of years,” Pearce said. “I think a club up there would help the comp out.”

Support has continued to build for the march, with about 500 people registered to attend through theradio.com.au website, while officials hope hundreds more will turn up on the day.

Supporters are asked to wear red and black and meet at the park adjacent to Gosford Sailing Club at 4pm, before the 4.30pm march.

They are then encouraged to stay for the NRL match

Tomorrow’s NRL match starts at 7.30pm. Gates open at 5pm and the Toyota Cup kicks off at 5.15pm.

* Four Roosters players will sign autographs at Central Coast Leagues Club between 4.45pm and 6pm tomorrow.

Bears fans bonding for NRL start in 2013

It was a march through the streets of Sydney that proved the driving force behind South Sydney getting back into the NRL a decade ago, and now the Bears are hoping people power can boost their bid for readmission.

While the now Central Coast-based team's motives are far different from the Rabbitohs - who successfully fought their expulsion from the competition through the courts - the Bears hope Saturday's planned march through Gosford to Bluetongue Stadium will galvanise North Sydney followers and fans plumping for a new team in the region.

Between 500 and 1000 people are expected for the march, which will begin at Gosford Sailing Club at 4.30pm and will finish with a barbecue at Bluetongue Stadium prior to the Roosters and Newcastle NRL fixture.

Roosters star, and North Sydney junior Mitchell Pearce will mingle with fans, before a Bears supporters area is assembled to watch the match.
Central Coast CEO Greg Florimo said the march is not a protest to the NRL, but a chance for red and black fans to get together and feel inspired by the Bears' surge towards readmission to the league in 2013.

"We're not out to make a statement to the NRL, we've done plenty of that, they know what we're doing," Florimo said.

"We'll get to that point in maybe eight, 10, 12 months down the track when we're ready to go with the NRL and we want everyone to rally and come together and have a fan day with 10,000 people at Bluetongue Stadium. That will come, but this is just the first part of it.

"This is a chance for the fans to come together and understand that there is a whole group of supporters of the game on the coast that want to see this happen and this is a chance for them to be heard."

The Central Coast recently released a foundation jersey which has been selling quickly, and have overtaken the Roosters, Cowboys, Sharks, Panthers and Raiders for fans on networking site, Facebook.

A great look, tomorrow will be a real cracker of a day. Go the Central Coast BEARS!!
