Like I said people have a short memory and expect perfection every time

Crichton not being able to pass and Jimmy are more to blame
He’s can be a very good 7 imo I just think he will cost us too much. We should offer him a deal for sure but if he gets bigger offers let him go. For the right price he is a very good halfback for us, put Luai next to him and I can see them leading to us to a lot of success over the next 5+ years.
The club is stacked with talent. Competition for spots at every position. Peachey struggles to make the 13 we have that many good players. We absolutely do not need to take a risk by giving a young half a huge deal. Offer him what he is worth to us right now, not what he could be worth in 5 years in a fairytale situation.

I gave credit to that and want to see how he goes when he's rested this week and back at clubland which he's familiar with.
He was the 4th fastest player on the field in Game 2 last. He got up to 33km/h.His defense has improved as he got stronger, but his kicking game has disappeared. That's a significant problem for a half. He's touted as a running half, but doesn't have the pace for mine. I love his attitude and work ethic, but he lacks in too many areas to break the bank on.
More so those Reddit comments. He out played Maloney in the 1st 2 games. Was very even v Dragons. So lets compare the 2 at the end of the year
You mean first 2 games of origin or our season? He definitely was better than Maloney for the club before getting injured.
Yeah those 2. The games v WT and Dragons it was probably even. Since then Origin has gotten in the way
There are only a few who are carrying on like that. I hope we keep both Nathan and Jerome.Like I said people have a short memory and expect perfection every time

That would be the ideal pairing for me going forward
No it isn't. Only a few are carrying on like that. I do agree he needs to be rested this week.Like I said it's a growing sentiment with fans in general. He needs to get a good rest this week and come out swinging for the remainder of the season to shut down any talk.
Me too.

You don’t think he has the pace? Interesting.
When I’ve seen him get in the clear I thought he burned some other players. He’s scored a few tries just running it himself.
You are taking this out of portion. With that I am out of this conversation.Outside of this Panther forum it definitely is becoming a thing. It makes me happy to see our fans back the team(damn good team it is) but this origin period has really not done Cleary a lot of favours as far as how he's seen as a halfback. Even Brad Fittler and Nathan himself said he was not where he should've been.

He topped the statistics in running meters, but, yeah what ever.
