These blokes are playing a bloody good brand of footy this year. I really think they are benefitting from being coached, which they didn't get much of last year under RSmith. Their defence isn't great, but as Misanthrope said defence isn't a priority in NYC.

I'd suggest to anyone who goes to the games, get there early and have a look at these boys. They play for each other and show a real pride in the jersey every week. They are a breath of fresh air.

I've blocked out the Melbourne game too.
Now let's never speak of it again.

Hopefully someone from NYC gets a call up, but knowing our history, thats very, very unlikely

What is it with young guys being ball hogs and putting individuals above team?

Different coach, different set up, and still some of these guys want all the glory and refuse to pass the ball to their team mates when everything points to PASS.

Good win and all, but worrying signs of selfishness still exists in this team.

4. Mitch Williams
5. Jarrod Tua
6. Tyrone Roberts
7. Alai Taufa'ao
8. Josh Ailaomai

16. Dane Cordner
17. Harmony Hunt
18. Brendon Simpson

Coach: Garth Brennan

Only difference is Finn and Wilson changing numbers. Wilson might be injured.

The Rabbits have a 2-2 record compared to our 3-1, and the sides that have beat them are below us on the table too.
We should be favourites, but early season form in NYC doesn't mean a lot.

The 1-7 is the strength for Souths.
The centres have NRL written all over them and Vaivai scored 4 lastnight.

It is Malcolm Websters first game back too from injury.

Knights are strong across the park.
We have had 3 really good wins against decent sides, and one absolute smashing, which i am more and more thinking must have been the result of an allnight party or something (just kidding - it's the excuse i would have used 30 years ago).
Apart from Wilson on the bench and maybe injured, that is about our strongest possible side.

The Souths pack goes okay.
They are solid without being outstanding although Nansen looks like he could handle the NRL.

The real strength is Reynolds and Mundine in the halves and there ability to kick out of trouble and control a game.

Mundine has close to best kicking and passing game you will see for a guy his age as well as a guy his size.
