We were down 6-0 struggling to get into the game.
Api does a great kick pins them in the corner, we force the mistake
Api scores that allowed us to then take control.
Similar happened in Round 2. We were treading water until the sin bin, During that sin bin he put 2 tries on.
You are as bad as Ricky; he said it was the ref that got us down their end. For you it is Api.
What actually happened in Canberra is we went down 6-0. On the next set of six after Canberra scoring (ie from the kick-off) their captain drops the ball cold on the second or third tackle. Canberra don’t touch it again before Api scores.
We won the game by 20 points. Api played well but wasn’t even the best player on the field; it was a fairly wide held view that Dyl was the best player in the night. Api was not the difference between winning and losing; very few individual players ever have that much influence on an individual game.
Let’s put it this way; given that Api will be playing for the West Tigers next year, do they make they 8? With such an amazing player who (in your eyes) is the difference between winning and losing, surely they are specials to make the 8?
