Too old school no punches. But quite alot of jersey grabbing and some good fisting.

This might be the breaking point for another team who want to find a way to beat us. Cronulla got to Melbourne years ago by playing a bit rough. I'm not feeling it in the lead up however.
If shit goes down I wouldn't want anything to do with Fish that's for sure. His cold dead eyes are terrifying

There will be no fight. Not even the southpaw from Dorrigo will be stupid enough to throw down. We have a premiership to win.

25 years ago we could pick Craig Greenhill and Jody Gall and have quite the time. Not tomorrow.

Cam Smith introduced the world to the chicken wing in a prelim.

I'd put nothing past the Storm.

Oh wow, I’d never heard that.

I knew about it, because my ancestors and parents were born raised and married in Dorrigo, and many of the original families are intertwined.

Like with Isaah Yeo, I believe (after talking to my older brother) that Dylan and I might share a relative or two in common......but not related.

Yeo is from my Mothers side of the family.

Edwards from my Dad's side.

I'd turn and marry either of them

That is sweet. Had a great uncle that played more than a bit, then coached in later years. Made some rep teams too. Dear Uncle Mick.

Back on topic now.

Tomorrow's game. Nerves are kicking in.

Only an idiot would think the way to beat the Panthers is to "rough em up". If that is their plan, they clearly haven't been paying attention. This side has more mongrel than a kennel full of stray dogs. My advice, "don't poke the bear".

It will be trick plays and all out attack for them to ambush us

Yeah but if were marking say Saab and Koula then you need speed.

You would also need a backup hooker in the utility, So for balance is was what the side needed

Peachey is worse at that we've seen him be run past very easily just this year.

That is what you get with depth players though.

My point was Ivan is defence minded, bought a player the reserve grade side for the spooners.

From Round 1 he was a centre in NSW Cup over some younger potential centres, He clearly saw him earlier as an option should injuries happen.

Throw in he was our 5th top tryscorer for the year too. It is good we were able to build some
Centre depth across the season that is the main takeaway
