Like the Pirates over the Reds. Hard to have Reds in NRL whilst QLD have Reds in Rugby.

With the talk about progessing into SOO. You would have to run parallel SOO's instead of one main SOO. WA would have it's own series against VIC. SOO does not have to exist as a multi-state tournament, just a traditional grudge match between equally competitive rivalries.

No, not really just updated your lack of knowledge of a still successful NBL [little pond] franchise.

While I hoped for a better name/logo than the Pirates, unfortunately I didn't expect anything better unfortunately. The WARL dead set need to improve their professionalism, desire and do a lot of hard ground work for this 'Pirate' franchise to work - I just can't see it happening but I would love [especially for our great game over here] to be proven wrong.

The fact I never mentioned the wildcats has more to do with the NBLs complete lack of market presence than anything else. I'm fully aware of the team and their history.
