Great thing about Soward too is he is the fastest man in the team,when he took that intercept he not only had the speed to get away,but great vision to set up Morris on the inside.

I would take Pearce's defence over Soward's speed any day. Plus Pearce is hardly slow anyway, one of the Roosters quickest over 40 apparntly.

Pearce only looks good against the weaker sides, against stronger sides he isnt a match winner or creative but only a kicker, soward so far is showing to be the better against stronger teams he runs and doesnt just kick as pearce would against the better teams, you will hardly see pearce backing up or try to break the line against the stronger teams

i think you've said it well. pearce is 19 or 20 ffs. he's a good player now and will get much better. soward is crap, can't tackle and doesn't really offer anything in attack.
