    Let's settle this....

How could the player in round one be the same guy from round ten. He had to improve or be dropped. He improved and therefore should not be dropped. Simple as that.

    this weeks captain??

What about giving Gallen a go? The guy gets plenty of game time and always leads the team with his perfomances. Seems to be a bit more level headed than Nutters and hence is less likely to backchat should we be down in the penalty count.

Greg Bird at 6, as expected.

Food for thought as far as the Dykes-Bird or Dykes-Sully combos go in regards to ball-playing... Offloads: Sully 16 Bird 12 Kicks: Sully: 14 Bird 0 Try Assists: Sully 2 Bird 0 Handling Errors: Sully 3 Bird 8

RLW: Top 10 Buys for 2005

Covell - Best new winger since a young pup named Andrew who was still studying at De La Salle when we signed him
  5. Mr Sharkie

Greg Bird at 6, as expected.

I'd rather see Sully at halfback with Dykes staying at five-eighth. Didn't Jack Gibson say "you don't weaken one position to strengthen another"? If so why are we swapping Dykes for a five-eighth that doesn't pass?

    3-2-1 vs raiders

3 Points – Brett Kimmorley: As if the article didn't tell you who was going to get the points today. Kimmorley started the match in poor fashion with some unlikely handling errors but "Goddy" overcame his own demons to seek vengeance on the Raiders of his try-line and ensure the two points were...

    3,2,1, vs warriors

3 Points - Brett Kimmorley: Consistently showed his team how to play football and kicked a thousand times better than rival Lance Hohaia. 2 Points - Paul Gallen: As per last week City-Country is a farce and should be played on the moon. This guy is the best lock in the game on form at the...

    3-2-1 vs storm

3 points – Paul Gallen: If this guy doesn’t get a call up for City vs. Country then the game is a farce and should be played on the moon. Every week he makes 100 hit-ups for a 1000m and a million tackles. Who else does that? 2 points – Hutch Maiava: It is testimony as to how good this guy is...

    sharks in city country

I feel for Gallen but would prefer to see him line up for us than for whoever in this stupid fixture. The slectors may have actually done the game a favour by picking so many Dragons, if they don't back up and end up losing then maybe they can wrestle the wooden spoon from Newcastle's cold...

    Daniel Dumas

Daniel is a great player and he will be back but his injury is still bothering him so the softly softly approach has been adopted. Tamazoid is spot on.

Sharks want to keep in-demand Stuart Raper

Here, here! I say we let him know the club is interested but don't put pen to paper until we know he is the goods. Somewhere between round 10 and 16. We don't want to make him sweat too long as uncertainty about who the coach will be can effect a players ability to perform and their decision...

    GRAND FINAL: SHARKS vs.

 Oh yee of little faith!
  13. Mr Sharkie

    Covell a Kiwi?

Have to say I agree on this one. The tri series was a good great idea as it levelled the playing field a bit (but not a lot) but a the same time you could never tamper with Origin or there'd be a lynch mob headed straight for NRL headquarters. Fair go! Back off the best winger the Sharks...

    Sharks TV coverage

If you can't get the dosh together to fly to where-ever the Sharkies are playing the it's awesome when the Sharkies are on Live on Sat night of Fox. The middle of three (hopefully) stunning games of Rugby League!

Ando's Signings - Flash or Trash ? - the legacy

Just my way of stating that we should kneel in the presence of what WILL BE the premiership bringer!

    GRAND FINAL: SHARKS vs.

Ok so I know you don't win finals spots in April and that this is probably jumping the gun but given there is no game this week I figure we can get creative. I reckon the obvious answer is to say the Illawarra androtop-ons but personally I'd love to see us cream Manly in the Grand Final...

    Rerating Raper

If we say Raper is the man to break the curse will we jinx it? I am really convinced we are going to give the finals a real shake this year and think we may just qualify for a home final ie top 4 finish!

Ando's Signings - Flash or Trash ? - the legacy

 LMAO  See Karl played a couple of good games for us and I think he even got a Dally M point on one occasion but unfortunately for him the Sharks played Rugby League not Ultimate Death Match and hence the judiciary made sure he didn't play consecutive games. This statement...

    3-2-1 v Cowboys

3 Points – Brett Kimmorley. It might seem like a cop out just to pick the halfback but nobody had more an impact on the game than "Goddy". His divine kicking game and three try assists gave the Cowboys absolutely no chance. 2 Points – Paul Gallen. In any other team he'd be a walk up start for...

    Paul Mellor

I thought it was a good performance for a player still finding his feet in the NRL after being in the weaker Super League competition for the past few years. He'll get better defensively in the weeks to come and will grow from this game.
