    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

Was counting on the Roosters winning tonight as I was going to take my Roosters supporting son to see them next week. I don`t think the Storm has a snowball`s against the Panthers, with the Roosters you never know. No way they should have lost that game, they were all over the Storm.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

So you think what they`ll lose with the Warriors/Knights they`ll make up for by having the women`s in prime time, interesting, certainly can`t say they aren`t giving the NRLW a red-hot go. What other women`s sport is getting prime-time main channel exposure, two nights this week. It`s a shame...

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

I`m finding it quite fascinating that the Nine and the NRL are prioritising the Kiwi audience by scheduling Saturday`s game between the Warriors and Newcastle at 6 p.m. in NZ, which translates to a less favourable 4 p.m. timeslot over here. I can only think that they see this as a golden...

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

You sound a bit defensive there, funny you didn`t reveal that you already knew they`d drawn 500k on a previous occasion.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

Only you would be miserable enough to question it (and even go to the length of attempting to track it down to discredit it), most League fans on here are happy to accept it, even though we know to take it with a pinch of salt. The facts are a prime time game for a team garnering masses of...

The Game Future NRL Stadiums part II

Yeah you have to wonder what value a 17k stadium offers, too small for concerts etc you`d think, but it is a large catchment down there and a fair way from anything else. I wonder if there is any way they could reconfigure it to at least 25k now that the NRL are involved in the precinct.

    18th club, whose next?

Really are laying the groundwork aren`t they. Despite whether you like it or not the Vegas venture does add an element of intrigue and glamour to the NRL. Also, all those high paid FIFO`s might splash out on a week in Vegas as well.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

So the Panthers/Warriors game goes from ~900k to ~1.6m once our Kiwi audience is included.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

Some interesting numbers in there, NRLW Titans/Eels 47 000 , no fumbleball-W game came close, in fact our two regional NRLW teams Cowboys/ Raiders outrated their big Melbourne club f-ball W teams. 79 000 for the Knights/Raiders mini was another standout. Rugby League at its` gladiatorial best...

    NRLW TV ratings killing AFLW

That was pretty well hyped as a top of the table clash, the numbers show that people are listening and responding by watching accordingly, which is promising I think.

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

And some of that has to be put down to playing in front of such a small crowd, if they had 30k like Newcastle they might have been a different story.

    2023 TV/Fox/Streaming Ratings

The seasons of both codes are too long., not that I could care less about the other one, they could play till Christmas and I couldn`t give a rats. The NRL should really aim eventually for something like the NFL, short, intense and leave people hanging for next year. We can make extra viewing...

    18th club, whose next?

You could have said the same thing about other clubs at different points in time, I believe there is such a thing as winner`s fatigue, or the inability to keep up that high standard/intensity year after year. I would put the Roosters in that category now and the Storm to a lesser extent...

    The Game 2023 Crowd Watch

I heard someone from the Sharks say the other day that will just be shy of 18 000, christ knows what that means, I`m assuming that means 17 800, but who knows.

I say good riddance to the Sharks this year with their poxy kids size stadium.

    18th club, whose next?

Could not agree more, I do fear though sometimes that our officials are heading down the union path where they seem to love seeing themselves on the big screen being important and how brilliant they are by never missing a thing and knowing every bloody rule in the book.

    18th club, whose next?

In todays Australian : "IF there was any doubt about the decline of New Zealand rugby, it was washed away by a dominant French team" "The All Blacks became bereft of ideas as the French defence squeezed them into multiple errors and turnovers. Kiwi fans’ fears that this team was eroding in...

    2023 - Oceania Tri-Nations (Pacific Championship)

This is V`andy`s specialty; getting other people to pay for things. Prime Ministers speech committing $7mill over 2 years to fund the competitions. Very noice.

    18th club, whose next?

Storm Rugby League club, despite the media black-out in Victoria you describe, ~ 30 000 members and averaging 18 000 + at games, I`d say that compares very favourably with the Sydney f-ball clubs, especially as you say what they are up against. You are in severe danger here of being seen to talk...
