    What for 2011?

I'd say most people would agree the Roosters went better than predicted this year and should be congratulated. What about for 2011? Will they fall back into the field due to the let down? I don't think so, I see the main three keeping them going. However, I am worried about the go forward...

Friend incident - James Aubusson injured, do we have any other back-up hookers?

Now it looks like Brunten is out suspended, who is the next option?

The punch that cost the Sharks $20,000 - Zappia stands down

True but they then commented on the story and came out saying about the shadow boxing. Confidentiality agreements are great if an incident is over and finished but can mean you can't come out and discuss if a three party brings something up.

The punch that cost the Sharks $20,000 - Zappia stands down

Remember the agreement is signed by two parties. So the comments Cronulla made about the incident involving shadow boxing may have been construed as breaking the agreement first.

Sharks captain Paul Gallen fined $10,000 for racist remarks at Micky Paea

That is the reason we have all these headlines at the moment. There have been all these bad stories that people have been willing to ignore or keep quiet. If we are to get over the headlines coming again, we need to start zero tolerance over this. The NRL should straight away have pulled them...

The biggest problem in NRL has to be...

True but if you let it continue at the grass routes, where it is seen as part of the culture the players will expect it to continue when they go professional. It needs to be a whole system culture, not just once they reach professional status and not just at grass roots but throughout.

The biggest problem in NRL has to be...

It also isn't just the NRL but has to look at the grass root amatuer clubs, where alcohol is seen as part of the Rugby League Culture and team building. This goes down into the juniors, not just the A grade teams.

    News Ltd vs SMH coverage

Can you quote correctly in the future, half of those weren't my comment. I didn't say it was an NRL event. The money comes into the game mainly through the NRL, that drip feeds it out from there to the ARL and News Ltd. Surely it is in News Ltd interest to publicise any League event The sale...

    News Ltd vs SMH coverage

It went up about ten minutes after I made the original post. It still isn't as impressive as the smh coverage. However, just past midnight, the Daily Telegraph coverage went up which is as good as the SMH coverage.

Actually Timmah, they have plenty of coverage now but at the time I made the original post they had nothing.

Dominance of Post WWII - 70s era

Or is it that most people judging didn't see people playing in the earlier eras, so didn't have the personal feelings about them. Only statistics, which don't tell the whole story.

    News Ltd vs SMH coverage

I find it ridiculous that News who half owns the game has no coverage up of tonights event, while the SMH already has a front page article and photos. If the owner of the competition can't be bothered then it makes you wonder about their commitment...

    Artie no show

Good on him, he has been consistently complaining about the money being spent on does like this and not going to the grassroots. So he staying with the principles he has been stating for years. To go would be hypocritical.

Do Souths fans feel the same way JT does?

I was worried when on the ABC yesterday that the team hadn't gone into the match thinking they would win, rather they were going in to improve on the weak before. Sorry, for a first grade team, surely the first goal should be to win each match.
