I don’t think it’s harsh. He doesn’t have a good pass. That impacts his running because he becomes one dimensional. Not knocking his effort at all, great depth player but I believe thats it. Could be a great 14 to play hooker if needed, injury coverage on the bench etc. The Melbourne game was great fun but that wasn’t won because of dynamic halves ball playing.

We have zero shape going either side and that’s on both halves.

Our left edge use to be this devastating terrifying weapon. I fear shifting Talakai away from his partner Ronnie is a big reason it’s lost its lustre.

To be fair we probably extended his career by 5 years by how little he got used in the game plan.
