i don't for a second believe we'll be at kogarah. i also think there will only be the odd token game at wollongong as well.

i reckon there'll be either mergers galore or relocations. i also reckon there'll be only one southern club incorporating the sharks & us and whoever else. there is no possible way that we can survive given the direction of the game.

So you're a believer in Doust's right dame right ground policy? As of 2018 the Nrl is increasing every club grant to 110% of the salary cap. This gives every club the opportunity to survive. Don't forget the cash cow that keeps this whole deal afloat relies on product to fund the game...i.e less teams = less revenue. For that reason its likely that only natural attrition (broke clubs) will force relocation/mergers. If suburban grounds meet the Nrl criteria and are upgraded/updated as required they are here to stay. You cant honestly tell me you'd rather watch you're beloved Dragons play in front of 15k at ANZ than 15k at Jubilee or the gong?

They've tried to do that once before. Most punters and long time supporters already have a distaste for the game, let alone the purists.
