Too many mistakes. It’s the only way the Raiders score.

We can win this game. Not out of it by a long shot.

Inexcusable not to just get to half time at 10-6. We dodged a bullet and all we had to was get down the other end. That last 60 seconds shows we're just not the same team today, and I don't see us coming back from it now. What a sad end that would be after the winning streak. We really haven't played any football, we've just been bashed out of the game.
We've been bashed out of the game, and it was always the way the Raiders were going to play it too. We turned up expecting it to all just happen, and panicked when it didn't.

Canberra playing like their lives depend on it. In the end, talent and form line mean nothing if you don't turn up with a killer instinct.

We're done. I don't think we come back from this.
Me neither. Without the scoreboard pressure I would still have been confident. But we shot ourselves in the foot one too many times and now it feels desperate. I think the Raiders will continue to aim up physically and the pressure to score will play on our minds. We just haven't brought it today, scoring first probably added to the sense of complacency that was already there. We've lacked the intensity of a final.

Seems like we kind of just expected to turn up and go through the motions and after the first try it looked like another day at the office, some of the errors have been inexcusable.
Canberra have come here to bash us and we’re letting them. Need to start playing some football, we’re failing to hold on to the ball just hitting it up might as well try play some football and if errors are made so be it but what we’re doing right now isn’t working at all

We need the ball, first and foremost. You can't score points without the football. They've had it a lot more than us, and have scored more than us. Luckily not as much as they should have, mind you, and we've virtually given them most of their tries.

This game is definitely gettable, but we need to get our breath back at halftime and the ball back in the 2nd half. We win the possession, we win the game.

Yep,Ricky loves the "backs to the wall" stuff, thrives on it....
If the Knights can cut the mistakes and get some possession in the Raiders half they're a chance to come back...
if not it's as good as gone.

Honestly the more the media and certain members of the fan base talked like we were certainties the more I knew we were in trouble. One guy on the other forum bought a ticket to Auckland hahahaha.

I think you have to call it a coaching loss for AOB, and a harsh lesson about finals intensity. The opposition's game plan could not have been any more premeditated and predictable, but we have still been beaten on enthusiasm and been outmuscled. If we had matched them in those areas we have the classier players to win, but we haven't matched them.

Can’t blame this one on AOB. He’s not the one out there dropping the balls which the Raiders have scored off.

He does already live in NZ though, to be fair.
