I thought after Penrith game.

We really shouldn't be losing anymore games at Commbank until we play the roosters for our last home game. And that should be a 50/50.

We have Cowboys, Manly week before origin matches then Warriors, Titans, Dragons as our next 5 home games at Commbank.

We should win all 5.

Our home draw softens up. Win those 5 and leaves us to scrounge 4 wins max on the road from the rest should be enough for finals.

All just depends if we "turn up" or not. We shot to a lead before our danger zone minutes tonight and had momentum. When we have to scrap in games even against lowly teams we're still 50-50 propositions.

Outside of Tigers match last year we haven't really lost to a bottom side at commbank for a few years.

Teams that beat us are generally in the top half when they beat us.

I know Newcastle were poor, but this game had the makings of a BA wet dream.

Maka, Greig and Ogden were making metres at will. Hopgood had an amazing game. Forwards made metres and we made the Knights start their sets in their 10.

I was surprised by our missed tackle stat's. We can't afford them against good sides.

Anyway a good win, shame we left several tries out there, the score could have been anything.

His support play when Penis was dragging the Knight's left hand defence on his back was appalling, Penis looked twice to the wing to throw the offload with the no one to show for it. Made Sivo look like Addo-Carr in comparison.
I was watching him off the ball a few times, he's carrying an injury for sure, he was walking/jogging gingerly all night. Not sure if it's something new or a hangover from his injury but it was fairly obvious he was he's incapacitated. Needs a few weeks off I reck. Surprisingly he managed to defend OK...

This was the worst and most deflating 40 point thrashing I've ever witnessed.......

I tend to agree.

While we can only play what's in front of us (and what was in front of us was awful), we scored 3 (or was it 4?) cheap tries from dummy-half/running at piss-poor defence on the line, and we left so many points on the board.

A win is great, but we weren't that good - Newcastle were abysmal.

We completed at 66%. I think that's 2 weeks in a row.
We needed to tighten that up and be more clinical. Tonight we should of easily hit 60

I dont see the point of being deflated after a game like last night.

Yes we probably left 4 or 5 tries out there but enjoy it for what it is.

Not many times we get to play a team that rocks up not giving a flying toss.

If you can't enjoy the wins then you are supporting the wrong sport.

I think everyone knows we need improve massively still.

I rocked up pessimistic last night about our chances so I was happily surprised as it was the type a game when things aren't great we tend to lose.

I'm happy for the win, and it should do our confidence the world of good.

But it's the type of win that will mask over the cracks that are so obviously still in the team.
