Do we? Obviously the club will know better than anyone here given they have access to his fitness stats but Katoa hasn't looked gassed to me. Egan hasn't done badly and adds energy in the back quarter but so would Peachey and I don't think we can carry both on the bench.

Get rid of Peach. He's not here next year anyway and his game is all based on running across field.

Age? Name? its a small place haha
He and his wife and kids have only been up here a year.
Up on Ettalong rd on the creek behind the caravan park.
You guys are going to have a few good years with all the talent you have.
I'll try not to make a smart arse comment about which of your next crop of juniors become ours....

Luai still had a very good game in a beaten team. A pity that our wingers are mongs.

The Sharks forwards and team as a whole are far tougher and more committed than the Warriors and it showed. We'd have scored 3 extra tries against almost any other defence.

Overall in no particular order the reasons we lost
1. Silly errors e.g Moses knock on 1st tackle after drop out/Luai not finding touch.
2. Penalties - we just gave too many away and these referee's were all too willing to blow them on our side
3. Our Forwards were generally dominated.
4. Back 3 Reserve Grade quality
5. Matt Moylan

Reasons why we stayed competitive
1. Kikau
2. Kikau
3. Kikau
4. Blake
5. Blake
6. Laui

A few things small things I noticed
1.JFH has a tendency to follow a barn storming performance with a flat one (like tonight)
2. CHN is a great line run, but he needs to take a few more hard hit ups a game. His output is a little on the lazy side. Not sure if this is due to coaching/tactics or his play.

Stating the obvious
We are paying big bucks on 2 props...and we are not getting good value from either of them.

He looked surefire and composed out there tonight. By the end of the year,he will be murdering it.

He has been hugely underwhelming to me. His first 2 passes were almost at Merrins head instead of in front of his chest. His service also isn't particularly quick...and so far he doesn't seem to have a running game to make up for it that he has shown in 1st grade.

You shirley aren't talking about Egan.

Nah don't agree with that at all. We missed Cleary big time tonight. Luai's been excellent but (like Cleary) he doesn't have a complete game.

They're two halves of a whole and we need to get them together.

A player like this does exist and we, though poor coaching/man management let him go. His name is Matt Moylan.

I don’t think our forwards got dominated at all. Was just two good forwards packs going toe to toe, both packs moved their sides up the field. Was a great battle. Tamou & Merrin both very strong, criticising for the sake of criticising.

I agree. Both packs did well. We win if Crighton holds the ball at the end there. He doesn't and momentum shifts for Sharks. We Clearly did something right.

Crichton got the worst bounce possible. Maybe I’m being kind but I don’t think any of our wingers score that.

Not really blaming him just pointing out how close we came to beating a full strength team who are probably going to finish top 4.

Egan was better than Katoa.

The run home and lack of attack will hurt both. Don't get me wrong tonight was a good performance by us regardless

Yeah. No idea how Aekins got those stats. He seemed so unassuming out there.
