Round 24 v Manly

The Souths game demonstrated that we need speed in our back-up centre position. Why I would have Peachey as the utility rather than Salmon on the bench.

You know a lot has been written about that incident, sometimes things like that just happen, it was at the end if the day one tackle, two players had the opportunity to shut the movement down, they didn’t and we lost. Sometimes shit happens, I didn’t enjoy it, none of us did we controlled that game for 70 minutes and a try off a kick and the failure to wrap up the ball carrier and we lost a game we should have won. It happens.

The irony is it isn’t the try I am talking about. They played that one pretty well defensively just got caught by a brilliant and unlikely pass. The previous four sets were the bigger concern; they tore us to shreds set after set.

The Bunnies can do that. They were absolutely awful last night for the majority and put on three quick tries albeit against a Sharks defence that was awful.

I think we have some issues leading into the back end if this season. Yes we are 11/12 or whatever it is, but there are doubts. The Soni Luke issue remains unresolved after his 8 minute cameo Friday night. Hosking at centre, well we got away with that one For one game.

I like many, think in the playoffs we simply can’t carry a passenger on our bench. We need to pick a proper utility, either it be Peachy or Salmon and run with three other forwards.

@Kilkenny sorry if i came off rude. I dont want beef with the best fanbase in sport.
I have no issues at all mate. Forget about it.

I say or express things on here on occasion that I wish I could take back , I think perhaps we all do on occasion.

Heat of the moment or whatever, but personally we only come on here for one reason and while opinions clearly differ everyone’s heart is in the right place.

I wish I could take back my support for Sione Katoa (not really) which you and others will never let me forget but that is who I am.

If anyone is carrying injuries that would benefit from a week off then by all means rest them. If it's just a matter of freshening up then they should hold out a few more weeks. We need to be fresh in mid September, not mid August.

Wowee yet a poster who has a user name of 'Chins get the Wins' goes by unoticed. The irony of it all.

I did not know about the I instead of L for Iongi.......

I'm with Kilkenny on this, I had no idea.

Wait how would that name be offensive? I've been up since 1am so maybe my brain is just mash potatoes.

It's an obvious refence to Nathan Cleary, and his rather large chin.

Folks don't have a choice about their physical appearance. Personally I find it far more offensive than someone accidently using an L instead of an I at the beginning of his surname.

The person behind 'Chins gets the wins' is a premeditated piss take on Cleary's large chin. Kilkenny's was a genuine mistake.

Guys I have a big noggin so to speak.

I have a thick skin, accept whatever comes my way, if I didn't I would have left here a long time ago.

It is what it is, I think I always try to put a positive spin on whatever comes our way, not always right, but I think my heart is in the right place.

There are two camps on here, that is never gonna change. Just the way it is. Not suggesting I’m in the right camp.

There are things we've agreed on so it's not all doom and gloom.

Kilkenny said its the thought that counts and the chin does indeed get the wins. A record amount of them. You also skipped the part where I apologised, he accepted.
