I interviewed the guitarist from Drowning Pool the other day too - still think their debut album was their best though. The new one is okay but haven't listened to it enough yet to form a genuine opinion.
Drowning Pool will never better that first album. It's brilliant from start to finish.

I do hope their new album is better than their last. I plan to buy it asap

If it wasnt prior knowledge I'd have been none the wiser. In fact if you had of told methey were British I wouldn't have doubted you for a second. Great Brit-Pop sound for mine.

"Full Circle"? Yeah it's OK imo. As you say - it'll be impossible to beat their debut album, but it's solid without being spectacular imo.

If anything 'Icky Thump' by White Stripes sounds like its worth buying, even though i'm not really a fan of them. I liked the single.

Only 26 and already losing touch with the music 'scene' prefer my 'old' stuff from the 90's

Alright I copped the Ghostface album Big Doe Rehab over the holiday break and a re-analysis of the top 10 is in order. Toney Starks is the new number 2. How does he keep doing it? He never ever disappoints

Just picked up "The Cool" by lupe fiasco. sh*ts all over "Graduation".
Naw not even close. It's alright though. Something about Lupe where he never quite exceeds that 'aiit' level - maybe it's just that he's too earnest or something, I dunno.

My anticipation levels for 8 Diagrams were off the charts after I heard the leaked Heart Gently Weeps, I was sure they were going to drop some of that old grimy Wu fire. Not quite.
