    i dont know how but this afternoon i watched last sundays game,and boy it hurt.watching the game i realised that brian smith is not to be blamed at all.i am sure he gave the boys a game plan but we did not get to see that quite simply because we never held onto the ball.so to everyone who wants...

    i disagree i think he is agood captain,and if it were to go to anyone else it would go to hindy,and then if his form dropped a little we would be here saying he can not cope with the captaincy

    i see where your coming from,but i dont want to put to much pressure on him but tim smith will be better for whats happened this year,there is only one halfback in the comp that can still win his side a match without his forward pack dominating and thats johns,but every other half back struggles...

    it hurts alot for all of us and just proves how much we love our eels.....sunday bought me to tears but im looking to the future,the current team will remain together for a while to come...and i just think of the day that premiership comes to parra i will celebrate for the rest of my days..

    spot on i have said this all year to my mates,just look at the style of footy we have been playing,its not brian smith style footy,we are more attacking compared to his coaching style

    so true all the non eels fans on our forum just wish there fans were as passionate and so into there teams as we are the thing is if they stay in there own forum they will only talk to them selves
