When are we saying goodbye to GB?

There are not enough decent players for GB to split permanently into England, Wales, Ireland and Scotland and remain at a fairly competitive level.

    SBW to miss Tri Nations?

If the kid has a chance of incurring an arthritic knee, it would be common sense not to allow him to tour at the end of the year, especially when you consider he has only played about two games this anyway. As for Benji Marshall, for another kid so young to have had already a string of serious...

    What are Paul Rauhihis.......

I think Paul Rauhihi thinks he's a great chance the way he has been playing this year. I have not seen for a long time, a player be so good one year and so average the next.

    That will do me

Shaun " Bombed Try " Berrigan, my a**. The first two I will accept, but Berrigan is just not an Australian test centre. He isn't even in the top two centres that the Bronco's have, let alone a starting centre in the Australian team. The Broncos would be much better if Tate and Hodges played...

    That will do me

Back onto the topic, how many Broncos will make the team this year. On form only Lockyer should make it, though with Bennett the coach I would not be surprised to see about 6 of them. If Wayne Bennett had his own way, we would probably see the entire Broncos team line up for the Roos.

Can anybody beat Brisbane for the premiership ?

Excuses, excuses, the fact is that Brisbane has struggled in the finals over the past few years and their forwards have been shown up to be too slow and un-agile. The likes of Webcke, Civoniceva, Thorn, Carroll, Carlaw and Smith all fall into this category, though the inclusions of a couple of...

    Mellor signs with souths

Souths are just getting worse and worse. What the f%&k is Paul Mellor going to do next year.

Can anybody beat Brisbane for the premiership ?

People seem to forget the problems the Broncos have had in the finals series over the past few years. Their forwards have been shown up to be too slow and un-agile around the ruck, and nothing that I have seen this year suggests that this may change this year, while if Darren Lockyer fails to...

Ross prefers Sharks to Bunnies and Storm

I doubt a current SOO player would jeopardise his rep career by joining Souths. Cronulla would at least give him a chance of playing finals football and the lifestyle in Cronulla would also be much better.

Chris McKenna and Brett Dallas to Souths.

Some real impressive signings there, Souths look to have put a mortgage on the wooden spoon for the next few years.

Who will replace Anasta at 5/8th?

Reni Maitua will be the five-eigth next year. For those people who believe he should stay in the back-row, where would you play him considering the likes of Willie Mason, Andrew Ryan, SBW, Nate Myles and perhaps Tony Grimali are already there ?

    Could SBW be a five-eigth?

You could stick SBW anywhere on the field and he will still be a great player, but his best position will be as a back-rower, though if the injuries do persist over his career I would not be surprised to see him in the centres.

    Orford the new Kimmorley??

I think the main motivation for Orford leaving the Storm would be to come to Sydney and further prove his representative capabilities. I reckon he probably thinks that by playing fo a Sydney club he would have a better chance of making the rep teams. Though if the money Manly are offering is...

    Anakin Harrison

Who could blame him, playing for the Newtown Jets PL team is about as attractive as South Sydney is to players at the moment. It will be interesting to see how the Telstra Stadium deal goes given that Souths have lost their best player and not signed anybody of any real quality.

    Daley hospitalised with Pancreatisis

Paul Green and Scott Sattler have got to be the worst commentators in the history of Fox Sports, with Junior Pearce not far behind. Gary Freeman is at least entertaining at times.

    fitzgibbon..

Hindmarsh and Kennedy were the only two forwards who ever looked like doing anything for the first hour, while all Fitzgibbon could offer were his p1ss weak runs, and the odd off-load.

kimmorley needs to go for game 2

He tried his best, I'll give him that and he was quite decent in defence, though he has once again shown that at the highest level he is incapable of performing to the standards we expect of him. Why, who knows, but I think that a player like Kimmorley to be a star needs a team to be built...

    fitzgibbon..

And that is exactly the biggest problem with his game, he will make you 50 plus tackles, but at the same time do f#$k all in attack, unlike Hindmarsh who just works overtime in both attack and defence.

    Webb and the Ref

People whinge that they want to see the biff brought back into Origin, and then when someone tries to intimidate the opposition with some aggresion, all of a sudden we want him sent off to the sin bin. The referee handled it well, while it was also very entertaining watching Carl Webb smack...

    Game Two Selections

NSW need some big men up front to stop the QLD forward avalanche, and some impact off the bench with their forwards. Unfortunately the likes of Mason and O'Meley are injured, which leaves the likes of Jason Stevens and Anthony Tupou as the only two real options of coming in. Andrew Johns...
