Misi Taulapapa - the biggest grub of them all

Yep, the ones with the overflowing trophy cabinet.

    Weyman in RLW this week

I think if that happens with Weyman it will be great. A couple of years in a different environment, hopefully to knock the crap out of his game and then back to the Raiders. Perfect!

    SBW's grievance list

AFL has only overtaken RL in player payments in roughly the last 20 years. AFL has succesfully managed to get bigger crowds, memberships, sponsorships and media rights, hence bigger player payments. Superior management has played a big role in its success, compared to NRL. Also the fact it is...

    Judiciary

Just because it happens all the time doesn't make it right. It can be easily eliminated from the game ... just make any significant contact with the head illegal. No contact with the face and eyes, no risk of getting into eye gouging. Simple! And still the question remains, what in the game...

    Judiciary

Fatshark - thanks for the compliment. Must be something in the water at Cronulla - makes players thugs and supporters morons! OK, tell me what part of the game requires anyone legimately to have their fingers anywhere near another player's eyes like that?

    Chris Ward

Before that he was the worst on-field ref for several years.

    Judiciary

If nothing happens to Bird, its a joke. That photo looks very damning, and that sort of crap needs to be rubbed out of the game. Of course, the NRL will just want to sweep this under the carpet and hope it goes away.

    Management

I'd be fascinated too. By the way, what was Don Jr's background before he got his Raiders job (apart from his surname?)

    Management

Hard to blame them when the Raiders serve up the dire crap they've played the last couple of weeks. Canberra will always struggle with coverage as they are not a major market for Nine. To get coverage the Raiders need to be really attractive and entertaining as a spectacle, enough to make them...

    Raiders v Roosters: Post Game

At the rate we're going the bye will beat us :D

    Raiders v Roosters: Post Game

Recent performances suggest his judgement of the players is very astute!

    Forwards

If thats true, I agree 100%. Weyman may not have shown his ability consistently but he was at least occasionally capable of doing more than nearly any other of our forwards. I actually think a change could do him the world of good. I'm hoping a couple of years under Bennett will knock the...

    Forwards

I don't think Tongue should be excluded from the sh*t description of our players at the moment. He is way off his game.

    Raiders v Roosters: Post Game

To be fair, if I was an NRL coach basics like catching and passing would be things I'd have assumed the players would have mastered long before they get to the NRL. But obviously most Raiders players slipped through the cracks and reached first grade without the basic skills.

Another low Act by Mr Gallen

I'm saying focus a camera on Gallen, who has a track record for this crap. Focus on others known for it as well. It would be rubbed out in no time. And I don't think hurting someone or not is the barometer of whether something is ok or not. What he's doing is dirty and unecessary - it...

    Gallen Grade 2 charge

Ghoti = the voice of reason in here. Gallen deserves a couple of weeks and it should teach him to get this sh*t out of his game. He's a good player, why persist with the f**kwit cheating tactics? Its not tough, just f**kwittedness. What he did was more than a facial - it was clear he was in...

Henry to leave Raiders at end of 2008

Exactly. We sign contracts with clients at work and most of the time they are being renegotiated the day after signing. Its often said the contract is just the starting point for future negotiations.

Another low Act by Mr Gallen

What the NRL should do to stamp this crap out of the game is focus a camera 100% on Gallen during a game (or anyone else considered to engage in these sort of tactics) and have the video ref tip the referee as soon as he does some treading on hands, ball grabbing or anything, pull the play up...

'Tax gouging puts our game at risk' - Gould

What this tax does is highlight what a poor business model rugby league has. Gate receipts and broadcast rights are insufficient to enable the sport to operate sustainably at its current cost structure. This has long been the case. Most teams have long relied on a generous club or a corporate...

    How long for Ross

Hard to argue its careless. He went high with his forearm cocked, and it was late. What else was he trying to do other than hit Cronk in the head? I'd call it deliberate but poorly executed .... just because he didn't hammer him hard doesn't reduce the intent.
