Paul McGregor coach of the year
lol. It certainly got a few stings in the feels tonight. Well in Mary.
had him 3 weeks in a row
hmmmm
fact is he has no problem being a merkin and you can bet yur balls 50 50 calls wont go our way
been happening for 3 weeks funnily enough
hmmmm
Fair summation. My concern is that much like last years semis our coach can't / won't adjust anything, in turn having us poorly prepared as evidenced by the capitulation to the Cows. Flanno is a very good coach, but the jury is still out as to whether he is a great coach.I'll tell you objectively why you lost those 3 games against Sutton. Sutton is awake to the Sharks antics in the ruck i.e holding tacklers down, thrashing around like a fish out of water, moving to oneside to get the marker offside and inlike the other refs he wont penalise as much for this.
The Sharks need those penalties and actually receive the most amount penalties in that area compared to other teams. It gives them easy metres upfield and they can execute their plays, which they do very well.
The problem for the Sharks is that is how the semi finals are reffed, so you will need to adjust.

In the press conference he did suggest there was injuries everywhere and the 9 day turn around will help heaps.
Ever since SOO he reckons blokes have been playing injured.
