How good is it to see Brails back in the starting team. God i pray his body holds together. The gulf in class between him and Phoenix is wider than the grand canyon. I've been blown away when he's come on the field just how much of a difference he really makes getting over the advantage line and just simple little specialist hooker things like engaging markers.

He was gone so long i forgot what a real hooker looked like. Please stay healthy young lad.

Wait, these f**king morons dropped Gamble and kept Cogger? Are they on f**king drugs?
At least with a player like Phoenix, he CAN make up for some bone headedness with pure effort play - diving on a loose ball, desperation def etc. We saw that last year. It's in his range.

Cogger has been nothing but a negative. So far all I'm sure he knows how to do is run dead straight at a defender and drop the ball.

Let's retain the bloke who hasn't created a single try or line break assist since being named to start.

Also if the Knights can’t fire up for this one after being the butt of the joke on Zac lomax’s insta id be disappointed.

Heh Gamble was our only half to set up a try on the weekend. Definitely seems like AOB is out of ideas on our attack.

I don't really get it. Cogger nor Hastings are a 6. Gamble is our 6 out of those three. So now we're playing with two 7s.

Can't wait to see what we dish up.

A half that runs too straight and a half that is too injury conscious to play in the line. What could go wrong. Kalyn is going to get frustrated out there.

I think we are going to switch one of our halves every 2 weeks by the looks of it. After 2 games it'll be Cogger to make way for Pryce. 2 weeks after that Gamble will be back for Hastings and so on. Maybe AOB is onto something new and revolutionary!
Not even Smithy went this far.

Surprised at the negativity, that team is so much better than the lineup that played the Warriors...Leo and Gags back, Brailey starting. You could debate Cogger over Gamble but it's hardly a travesty given our attacking and kicking woes.

Win this one and we're right back in the mix.

Good points up until Cogger. You can't debate that. He's rat shit.

Someone said it in another thread, but I don't hate the idea of just going for upside.

Armstrong for Jenkins. This kid can be anything. He can finish, he can come in field and you can structure plays specifically for him, even similar to how the Dragons have used Lomax this season.

Pryce I am torn on. His defence has been flat out bad in a bad Cup side.. But if the options are upside attack but bad defense vs kind of average at both (Gamble) or waste of a jersey (Cogger) I want the guy who can at least help those around him in attack. With Pryce teams couldn't 100% zone in on KP.

I'll admit on paper Cogger/Hastings is the strangest combo of the 3. The one "strength" Cogger has brought so far is straightening the attack somewhat. Hastings can and does do that so I'm not sure what Cogger is then bringing to the table based on what we've seen so far.

I'm not arguing for him but the halves play has been so underwhelming this year that I'm willing to try these different combos and see what sticks.

Same bloke saying Friz is out with a hamstring and Pearce Paul is in doubt. So plodder Jenkins gets a reprieve, would prefer to play with 12.

We cant have nice things.

:(:(:(

Frizz out alone is huge. He’s been our best player.

Not to mention Jenkins surviving and impact of possibly both of our starting back rowers out.

Is Jenkins any better at centre? Tbh in the rain I’d be tempted to still play Gags on the wing to catch the bombs and get our sets started.

What a mess.
