If Ivan is so dreadful at mind games. How did it not come out that Edwards played with foot stress frature. Fish with shoulder issues, Leota with calf issues, and Cleary we knew about. Bizza with ankle injury.

If he was so dreadful at ducks and drakes....how come no-one outside support staffs and players let alone the opposition didn't know the extent of these injuries.

Cleary did it was well as any coach who dabbles in the 'dark arts'.

I think Ivan played the long game. Baited Wayne into shooting off his mouth before the first week of the finals, and made the point about how much influence Wayne has. Didn’t hear a word from Wayne in the week of the GF, and no ambush.

Put his team onto the easy side of the draw with the week off.

Made sure the two teams that put 50 on his earlier in the season were on a collision course pre GF.

Well that shows that Gus et al must have been very good at spotting potential doesn't it. Most of them were juniors that came up through our systems and juniors are not rep players when they first start.

The practical part of Nathan named allows them to run their fitness tests this week and decide if he's ready or not. Either way he can play or not play no harm done.

Lesson learnt. You can't win a mind game battles against Bennett and Hasler. Better to play a straight bat or give them some BS praise.
