Take Round 1.
That would of been perfect time to announce Nathan is playing. Put him in 7 only for him to drop out an hour before the game.
That would of really taken the pressure off SOS which is why Ivan said he played along with it.
As Smug said. He may need or want to hide a debut or an injury and doing it every week makes it hard when the time comes
The club went the other way and it worked! They didn't need to name Nathan and put up with all the media BS leading into round 1 of whether he was playing or not.
SOS knew after the 2nd trial he would be playing round 1. It gave him time to prepare and he credited Nathan helping him. That approach didn't effect his game one bit.
The players know what is going on.
The Knights now have to prepare for both scenarios by naming Nathan this week. As opposed to not naming him and just doing homework for SOS at HB.
I have no doubt Nathan knows if he is playing this weekend or not.
Hasler does it all the time when Turbo comes back from injury. Frankly I don't care.
