Even if Staines does leave or is forced out, you can eliminate the Dolphins from the equation.
A quiet country boy isn't moving to Qld by himself. He'll look to stay as close to home as possible - Eels, Tigers, Bulldogs maybe Newcastle as a smaller city.

If the scuttlebutt is to be believed he really struggled after the move to Qld last year with isolation from his family.

I have an astute footy brain. Staines is good. Too is superior and May looks more talented.
Staines I feel is too good and expensive to be a back up and there is a new side coming into the comp next season. That means you will have to chose between the two most likely. Both would be wanted by other sides and prepared to offer them top 17 money. You can't be paying a guy 250k+ to be a back up.

A casual word of advice. On an opposition teams sub forum, you're kinda asking to be trolled by begining with these magic words.

'I have an asute footy brain.' 🤣

That comment is best made by others, not yourself. Like with being handsome, a good dancer, lover.......etc......Holds more weight if said by others. LOL

He is an amazing lover. Very attentive, or so I'm told.

I don't know what Taylan May is on or whether he can play centre. It appears they are battling for a spot in the side but the battle isn't yet over. Still, the current climate is unusual in that there's almost a full roster to be filled at Redcliffe and the players have to come from somewhere.

So the dog from Newcastle is claiming his elbow to Smiths jaw was careless...and he has Kents support apparently.

I have taken a few snap shots.

This one shows Smith running. Note the legs running action.

This one shows Smith coming to a stop before obstructing the dog. Again, note the legs stopping.

Smith has stopped at moment of impact.

If this dog doesn't get 8+ weeks there is something wrong!
Nelson got away with an intentional late swinging arm to the head so who knows.
