    This seems to be more of a "don't forget about us" then an stated intent to bid for a spot but if they do bid then that would directly impact on the B2 bid rather than the Western Corridor and would in effect be helpful for us as it would estrange the Dolphins from them.

    South East Queensland does not have a proper academy system set up. Placing an NRL team in there means better use of the 9500 juniors developing in the region.

    Better yet put a new NRL team in the area's that youth are being poached and nurture the enormous amount of talent that exists.

    South East Queensland has over 12,000 registered youth and senior players. 12 out of the 15 players selected in Queensland's team of the century came from this region. As said by others, there is a lot of opportunity to tap into more of rugby league's heartlands

    Worse from the perspective of a show supposedly about rugby league is that Ipswich is a rugby league heartland in every sense of the word; players officials fans ; it is the city’s sport. When something like this is aired, all they are doing is shooting themselves in the foot
