    Hindmarsh in 30-man NSW squad

fair point too Macca. I know that representative honours are the pinnacle for these guys but my heart lies in the club level competition, nothing makes me happier than an Eels team win. There may also be a few players out there developing the same opinion look at the debate at the moment...

    Why not bye bye Wags?

hard to change a winning team too much NSE and although wags form is down this year he has been a great player for us and very loyal. Also as a senior player it is hard to guage the positive effect he has on the younger guys, they look up to him and his prescence may well be very settling for...

    selection headache!

Isn't this an awesome turn up for the books :D The last 3-4 years we have struggled to get a fit 17 on the paddock with our horrendous run of injuries and now we have selection dilemmas. I know what situation I like the best 8)

Round 14 - Get Together in Newcastle

I will definately look into getting to the game Macca. Love the road trip 8) :D a short flight from Brissy to Newy and well worth it if I can get the time off. Will have to see if Belly can get on down as well we can get the same flight

I really hate to see the dogs like this (not)

Yeah Mac gotta love the RDO mate :D I reckon it makes the dogs players look a whole lot better with head wounds, heres to a continuing downwards spiral to their year.

    selection headache!

Tahu is an amazingly potent attacking weapon he will click and we have to give him the chance to do so. all those tries he scored sure as hell were not due to Gidleys poofy little flick pass :P Also IMO we have to keep Burt in the starting side when we are down and getting beaten there are a...

    Player votes V. Cowboys

    3) Tim Smith (anything this young bloke can't do?) 2) Fui Fui (sparked the side) 1) Widders ( great impact always in motion)

    Dean Widders

I am just pleased to see him with some consistency. Nobody has ever doubted his ability but putting it on the paddock from week to week has always been an issue for Deano. This year he is getting it all together and are'nt the Eels benefitting from that

Big League Preivew: Eels v Dogs.

After a couple of wins on the trot we should have our heads up and the dogs are very shaky at the moment. If we got to pick a time to play the bulldogs this year I think this weekend would be it! C'MON PARRA!!!

Thats what we expect....but lets do it again and again

Yeah Yeah bring on the bulldogs :x If we can roll the dogs it will be a huge motivator for the rest of the season. Everybody loves beating the premiers but we especially love smashing the dogs. Can't wait until next Saturday!

    B&G ARMY

Definately not now! It was great years ago I was a member of everything Eels, even when I was a Uni student and could'nt really afford it because we had the tangible we were acknowledged as fans. These days the game has got a lot richer and sometimes it feels as if you are taken for granted...

    B&G ARMY

Yeah not much of an excuse though, The Eels have a huge and loyal support base but everybody needs an incentive or two especially when your team is not travelling well. It is during these times that the club should do everything in its power to rally the fans not bury it's head in the sand and...

    Unity

The fans we have in this forum are passionate ones, surely between us all we can get a couple of these ideas in motion and set about getting the parra fans to as many away games as possible, the more we get behind our boys the better!

    For and against

Dead set right we have the players for a tight defence and the disclipline in coach Smithy we just need to have faith in the outside men, we are sliding well enough and Burty is directing them around the park alright but the inside balls a killing us, the Broncos tore us apart that way. Also in...

    Burty needs 3 points..........

I was stoked to see Burty playing the way he did tonight he is such a confidence player once he has one or two solid games in a row we can expect a heap of good performances from him. Great to see he was letting loose with the boot too he has a big kick but doesn't unleash anywhere near as...

Thats what we expect....but lets do it again and again

This is our biggest challenge, maintaining belief in our ability to win the big games and playing to a consistantly high level as we did against the panthers and the storm would see us rocket up the ladder, I firmly believe that with the wind in our sales and this years comp as up and down as it...
