Turuva is in lime for rookie of the year

He's barely made a mistake. He makes half breaks every game. Deadset freak

I like Jenkins but he's not even close.

Jesse and Casey are going to pass Jenkins easy.

Daeon Is a bloke that could go either way.. put it this way under Bellamy he'd play soo.

He has all the skills. Just needs direction to get there

Barely makes mistakes?

How many tries has he bombed?

Today alone Smith's try was called back due to a knock on from him.

In the 2nd half Luai throws a harbour Bridge pass. Turuva not in position, ball goes into touch

So he is no chance of beating Bula or Periera at Titans for starters

He's a a fullback for sure done well on the wing though

Turuva has been incredible for a rookie. Has been a fraction off in attack on occasion but you could say that about half the team. For a guy his size hes been an absolute rock under bombs and brought the ball back as well as anyone which is high praise considering who the rest of our back 3 are.

I am not saying he hasn't, he should start favourite to replace Crichton at centre next year.

Still Cole, Jenkins etc should be kept around until the 17 is locked in

May walks in over Turuva on the wing though

May will most likely take Critters spot on the right. He’s a good centre

Not sure from the start of the year due to needing to get timing back, by this time next year he should be

Jenkins should go play centre for the rest of the year in NSW Cup. To get some practice

He’ll have the whole preseason to get ready.

Agree with girds Luai needs to straighten up and bring his outside into the game a little. No reason a player as talented as Luai can't balance it with that inside run he sends Sorensen on. This is why Cody walker is the better 6 right now his play making is far superior.

Agree. Turuva always looks like he is going to fall over. He also always looks like he is about to make a break and never does.

That was a great win however. Jenkins was excellent.

It looks game plan to me, take yesterday his numbers weren't too bad.

If Turuva runs on to that pass, there is a try assist added to it.

He was playing more a 7 role yesterday. That is something Cody or Munster can't do

Our attack is still play smart footy and no risks. That is one thing we need to improve

Yeah he's perfectly capable it's just not happening. Laui would be the most creative and dangerous player in the comp if was passing more and setting up his backline as well as what he's already doing.

Man he is frustrating me lately, so many times when he runs there is a half gap he could run at and at least make half a break but instead he skips around and throws the ball back the other way. There is a time for that but he also needs to do a lot more good direct running. He looks his best when he is running straight, the break he made against the storm last week, runs straight out of dummy half, breaks a tackle and is off doing his thing, need a lot more of that from him. And a lot more simple run to the line and play short or long out the back. He has all the ingredients to be lethal in attack but he has the mix all wrong atm imo.

That has been my issue this year. The halves run too much and don't take enough risks

our attack had been setup to be easier for lesser players to step in, Hopefully our attack evolves to allow the halves to play more selfish

Even still we bomb a lot of tries which makes things look worse

@Blade23 in what world was Cogger ahead of Edwards as kicker?

Weren't the coaching staff laughing a few weeks ago at how uncomfortable he looked at the tee? We are talking third string after Cleary and Crichton but if it comes to that then Edwards has to be the man.

Good win.

It's Wayne Bennett. And he really wanted this one. Was hilarious watching him lead the team out at half time. If Wayne could be an actor he'd star exclusively in bargain bin westerns.

It's probably too late in the year to be testing but I'd like to see how Cogger handles the bench and playing hooker. He'd be very handy to have in the 17.

Dogs are in for a tough afternoon next week.

Frustration is a good word for it.
