Round 11 v Roosters

A crucial game where we need the win against another likely finals team. We want to be winning at least 1 of 2 against Roosters/Broncos. If we were batting less than 50% so to say heading into Origin, we could be in real trouble not only for making the Top 4 but even the 8.... Hopefully with some troops back we come out firing for this one. I really dislike the Roosters and can't stand losing to them. We haven't done it since 2019, we have to keep that streak going.

Move Tito into the centres and play Jenkins on the wing
You could certainly try that as an option if Peachy gets injured or has a shocker. Tom Jenkins is a much better finisher than Tito not sure he brings as much to the team overall. His try against the Jets was really good had to catch a pass above his head , stepped inside beat two defenders and then beat the cover defender stepping of his right. He is a very good finisher.

I wouldn’t be picking Luke Garner in the centres.

He was okay against the Jets but didn’t exactly stand out. Albeit no one did.

Good to see Riki back I think he is a goer with some potential.

We won every grade last year and yet waste the opportunity to blood anyone. Peachey shouldn't be near first grade in 2023, especially for the defending premiers

I get that but it seems to be pretty unanimous from the guys who watch NSW Cup that Jenkins and co. aren't currently good enough. Seems like that's the opinion from the top as well.

That’s correct. Some think Eddie Blacker is worthy of consideration but he is now coming of the bench in NSW Cup and frankly he just doesn’t stand out whether starting or off the bench. I think there are a few who need to be moved on at seasons end and Eddie needs to move on for his own sake. He’s not going to make it here.

Winning every grade last year has nothing to do it.

Our NSW Cup side is going busted frankly despite having a number of young guns and NRL experienced players.

I can’t quite put my finger on it, what is going so badly wrong, even the young fullback Longi has been very underwhelming.

Which is why I think he is now a specialist winger, In the Trial Turuva was centre with him on the wing.

I think that is the likely option should Crichton or Peachey go down

You saw Newtown play, They have some older fringe guys. That is what the side lacks. Just are too young.

Flegg should go back to back atleast

This is going to be a huge game for both sides.

I have no real confidence going into this game, could go either way, I don’t think it will be a close one, I think who ever gets the job done will do so by a fair margin.

We'll never get blown out with our defence, It's just not possible (origin is a different story)

We’re no where near full strength.

We really need the two points going into Suncorp against the Broncos.

I think for us to win it has to be of the back of a Cleary masterclass.

Dylan Edwards has carried us thus far but he alone can’t get the job done against the Roosters.

For us to win we need our 6 & 7 to stand up.

Hows garnz form been in cup? If he's playing 80 I'd prefer him over Peach at centre. Especially against the roosters an broncos

I wonder what impact all the media chatter around Suaalii is going to have (if any) on his and the Roosters performance. Always makes me nervous when there is so much #adversity going round the opposition team.
