Shouldn’t be hard for people to say Cleary is playing bang average without having to give excuses as to why or saying Luai is worse.

No one’s saying he’s a shit player but at the end of the day he’s getting $1.3m a year, is our marquee man, and controls our attack which is going like a busted. He needs to be a lot better … and I’m sure he will be.

No one is more critical of our coaching staffs team selections than you. Yet I suggest we rest an obviously injured player for a week and you blow up.. Trust the staff blah blah blah…

Maybe to remember to trust the staff next time you are critical of their team selections…

Again though take any side that won this week, look at their changeroom shots post game. Then look at every single person who has strapping on.

Where would those sides be IF injured players didn't take the field?

If they can be needled up and playing doesn't make the injury worse they play.

How so?

the Club chose not to match the offers, They did this to keep the rest together. That hasn't happened.
Crap, crap and more crap.

What does that link prove?

The club has said they offered Crichton $700k. Unless they are lying the money was there for Api. They chose to go elsewhere with it.
Leota re-signed too.

That is a centre and a prop who's money could of gone elsewhere, In Crichton's case is but there are very young guys in the wings. As such the depth is very weak now

Yes, but it greatly effected his ability to play.

Yes but we got closer then we would of with Cogger. We lost our ready made FG replacements.

The NSW Cup side named this week, Has 5 guys that played SG Ball last year.

It is a side that is preparing for the coming years and as such risks like that have to be taken

Yes but that was South’s. I have no problem with him playing last week.

We don’t need Nathan to beat Wests

the already shortened pre-season made worse by the RLWC last year - injuries were going to be inevitable

good news is this is happening before Origin period - a few boys being out is very inconvenient but at least gives them good rest during the season for a crack at September.

we're fine atm - just a lot of inconvenience but the season is not over for us, hope the media & pundits doubt us - we love being an underdog @ Penrith :p
