    If we are to get a big signing it will be announced either today, or next week. If our big signing is someone like Robert Apanui from the Burleigh Bears, it will be announced Tues, Wed, or Thurs, so that the distraction of State Of Origin will mean fewer people will laugh at us....

    I agree, he is a hard runner to which is a positive. Is he any better than Morris? Probably not, but the fact that he has develope through the Manly system couldn't be easy, so there is probably tonnes more potential there to be tapped into. Unless Hagan is thinking about being a player coach...

    Considering the talent that has been let go and the talent that has already been picked up at other clubs, i would guess we are going to end up a long way under the cap next year. While forward thinking clubs like the Dragons have taken full advantage of it and kept almost all their players.

    my only problem with paying a little overs for juniors is that you pay player x too much now, you will always have to pay him overs when ever his contract gets renewed. Also we can end up spending all this extra money on developing a guy who leaves and plays elsewhere.
