How is the Australian side looking now?

The side deserves to be full of Qld, Brisbane and Melbourne players, seeing Qld won the origin, and the other two are the grand finalists. 1. Hodges 2. Tate 3. Gasnier 4. Inglis 5. King 6. Lockyer 7. Cronk 8. Civ 9. Smith 10. O'Meley 11. Mason 12. Hindmarsh 13. Carroll 14. Thaiday 15...

Broncos Dilemma :Berrigan or Michael Ennis

next year 9. Berrigan 17. Ennis Ennis to fill Casey McGuire's role, seeing he is leaving. Maybe later on in the season Ennis could move to Hooker once he has played some footy. Berrigan can then move elsewhere, either to the bench or to centre, seeing David Stagg has been playing centre...

    Could it happen again?

#7 is definitely a problem, but I think that with what there is available, Hunt has been doing the organisational role at fullback, so possibly Berrigan could provide an option next year at half back (lol). I seriously can't believe I am saying that because he is a terrible ball player, but the...

    Why Firman?

Seeing the cowboys have been using Justin Smith at 5/8, it wouldnt hurt to try McConnell. Even if he isn't the best organiser, I don't see Justin Smith really filling that role. Firman is not turning out to be what he could have been. It is time to try something else to get out of this slide.

    Purchases for next season

Head is a good option, I'd also look at Nate Myles who would be an excellent option in the forwards, far better than Asotasi. Hunt will more than likely stay in the number 1 jersey. I think that the Broncos next year will look something like this: 1. Hunt 2. Tupou 3. Hodges 4. Tate 5. Boyd...

    Titans Team > June 30

Turner would be an excellent winger, he has been terrific for melbourne this year. He is much better at fullback but Mathers should take that spot. If the Gold Coast also picked up Webster or Tonga, that would be great.

If they move Lockyer to fullback...

Lockyer plays his best footy at fullback, and his move to 5/8 for the Broncos and Qld was due to a lack of other candidates. Now there are options. I also think Steven Bell is wasted on the wing, he is far better in the centres. Slater will return for game 2... If Lockyer stays at 5/8, Inglis...

    ATTN: Queenslanders

Yep, that's right. Forget the fact that they've still got a side full of players who have played international football, and if losing and blaming it on Finch is your scapegoat, then it's going to be a long haul for the next 5 years while you try and recover from the depature of Fittler and Johns.

    punk rock/emo bands

Fugazi aren't punk, they're not really under any 'genre' they're kind of their own thing. Sort of like Mars Volta, being unique compared to other genres. As for Panic! At the Disco, definitely aren't punk, perhaps emo is more suitable.

    The World Cup Thread

The word 'bandwagon' is being used too loosely in this thread, its like Laurie Daley saying 'grapple tackle.' Over used with no purpose. How is supporting the socceroos jumping on the bandwagon? It is supporting Australia, our country. If you don't support another country in the world, then I...

    With Perry out...

No Hunt in the QLD side please. Broncos will have a bit of money free with Webcke retiring, so they could use some of that to lure Barnes back if they need to.

    Origin One - your teams

Has Matt Sing retired for good this time? QLD have a few injuries and suspensions... What I think it will be: 1. Bowen 2. Inglis 3. Bell 4. Hodges 5. Tate 6. Lockyer 7. Thurston 8. Civinoceva 9. Smith 10. Price 11. Crocker (subject to judiciary) 12. Parker 13. Carroll 14. Harrison 15. Webb...

If you could add any five players to your squad, what would your 17 look like?

Johns will play around 20 matches this year? That's wishful thinking, he has already missed 2, with the possibility of missing this week.

Where should the next team be located

Forget about the Central Coast. Another NSW team should be pushed right into the background, especially since recently some have either failed or merged: Souths (now back in) Norths Wests and Balmain Illawarra and St George Perth would be a good option to come in next. Even though they...

    Johns and the Anzac Test.

How negative have Newcastle fans become? Already conceding defeat before a whistle has been blown or a point has been scored. Newcastle is going to have to learn to win without Andrew Johns. He won't be around forever. Last year's horror run wasn't just because Johns was out, there was a...

    Round 6 Team vs Roosters

I think giving Hunt a crack at half back this week would be beneficial for us. Is there a possibility that the one omission from the side could be Shane Perry? He has been named in the Queensland Cup (Redcliffe) this week...

Do you tip against your team?

Sometimes its good to tip or even bet against your team. It works as a kind of insurance..... If your team wins, your happy that they won and you have something to cheer for, if they lose, well you get the tip right and perhaps win a bit of money out of it, to ease the pain
