4 pts clear for the spoon, it just keeps coming, but it’s a 2-3 yr plan :(, we will get whipped big time in this one to secure Tim’s legacy and the clubs shame.

I understand we still want to avoid the spoon, but surely we need to concede, it’s ours, unless other teams collapse worse than us?

So why the f**k are we playing these blokes (Simpkin, Laurie & Staines) now, when they are leaving, would have thought they need to look to the future now.

This is a backline that I'm warming to, however I agree with @Tigerm when he said he can't understand WT persevering with departing players. Practically our whole backline won't be here next year.
Having said that, I expect a fitter Momenta Avisors to have a great running game spoint by poor kicking options and 6th tackle handovers.
Club Menangle and the Meat Man are out to prove WT made a monumental stuffup by not resigning them.
Someone with come off the bench and drop the ball over the tryline or be a mile behind in support with a try gone begging...Anyone have a guess who I'm thinking of.
Tim is going to blame everyone in the post match presser.

Apparently Staines may be staying?

But if they are not here next year, then they should be in reserve grade for the remainder of the year and give someone who is staying an opportunity?

Lets face it, the season was all but over after the first 7 losses in a row.

I hope James gets some decent minutes and runs hard from the back fence.
I truely believe he has a big future. If he were let go to a team like the rorters or storm he would kill it.
Common WT, mould him into a weapon.
Fingers crossed.

Am I wrong for thinking the lads are in with a chance for this one?

Any team is a chance against the Raiders. We've been backed from +13.5 to +10.5

If Stefano and Blore were playing I'd say we're a real chance, sadly I think the Raiders probably just have a bit too much firepower for us

Glad to see Matamua back and very interesting to see 3 Ball age players Da Silva, Feledy and Lauilili in the reserves. Personally think Faagutu is a bit ahead of Lauilili (also a year older) but exciting to see, wonder if we'll get a few more debuts this year.

Well...I think I'm right in saying that this side are the best wooden spooners in the history of the NRL.....does that help anyone at all ?

I can’t watch the game, but amazingly, losing by 4 pts must put it in the top 5 or so games we’ve played all year?

3 comments;

Their quarterback was better throwing passes to their wide receivers

Referees are frightened to make calls that upset Stuart in games played in Canberra

Bellamy and maybe Bennett would have us up near the top 8, these clowns running the show never will. The team has talent, the coaching doesn't.
